FELICITACIÓN Y DESPEDIDA DE NUESTRO SECRETARIO NACIONAL

Madrid, 19 de diciembre de 2018

Estimados Snipistas:

Serious sailing, serious fun

Madrid, December 19th, 2018

Dear snipe family,

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

First of all, I would like to congratulate Del Castillo brothers for validating their title of Champions of Europe in Finland, as well as the rest of the Spanish fleet,
as the eight Spanish participants finished within the thirteen first classified boats.
Moreover, as I announced in the last Class Assembly, it is my intention to leave the position of National Secretary as of December 31. Many of you know,
that last August I was renewed as European Secretary General, position that I want to work for and where I believe I must focus all my time and effort to try
to strengthen the European fleet
I want to thank the support of the different Board of Directors that have accompanied me over these last years leading the National Secretary. I have always
found support, friendship and encouragement to continue forward with our project, which is, and has been, to maintain and increase the fleet all over Spain.
I would also like to thank the tireless work of the regional Secretaries, Fleet Captains and clubs that have worked and made an effort to maintain and
encourage their fleets and all of you that have always encourage me to continue working for all of us.
As of January first, and according to our rules, the Vice Secretary, Fernando Celdrán will become the new National Secretary.
I understand that he is the right person to lead and helm the future lines of the Class, and that he will drive us into a successful direction. Therefore I ask you
the same degree of support that you have always had with me, as the “Class” is all of us.

Thank you all, I remain at your disposition and hope to see you all on the water,

Best regards,

Serious sailing, serious fun
